My Thoughts:
I have been loving this series. A political drama between warring cat clans – hellz yes! Where have you been hiding all my life? Apparently on the MG bookshelves at the library.
In this 2nd volume of The Warriors, the stakes are raised yet again. My emotions were twisted up between Fireheart’s longing for family and acceptance, Bluestar’s dwindling lives, and Graystripe’s unwise foray into forbidden love.
The hits just kept coming – Fireheart’s apprentice learning the hard way about the tragedy of disobedience, the menacing threat of Tigerclaw, and the heartbreaking truth of Yellowfang’s expulsion from her clan.
Man oh man this is a compelling series, and I can hardly wait to find out what happens next. Will Tigerclaw betray Bluestar and Thunderclan in his quest for power? Will Graystripe’s indiscretions be discovered? And what problems will the impulsive little Cloudkit cause for the already put upon Fireheart?
